Turnover was up from 2011-12, when it was £1.7m. Gross profit, meanwhile, was at £486,000, up from £422,000.

Gavin Farley, director of In 2 Events, said: "Last year saw some major changes in the business. We bought in a new marketing manager and aligned the sales and marketing function to support new business growth, as well acquire two new project managers to support the delivery of the business."

The news comes after In 2 Events won new business with two clients, Kenexa IBM and Kyocera.

Kenexa IBM will run a series of ‘working smarter’ conferences in London, Paris and Munich for more than 500 delegates each.

Meanwhile, Kyocera ran its Partner Conference in La Manga in Spain for 150 key partners earlier this month.
