Touch Associates, an event communications agency that launched in January 2012, is forecasting quadruple growth in 2013, following its first year results.

Director Patrick Collins has said that the results are 'bang on plan'. He said: "This was our first full year with [directors] Mike [Ford] and Nick [Bender] on board and given that we started the year with very little on the books, we have done incredibly well."

Director Nick Bender added: "This announcement comes as we are half way through our 2013 fiscal with forecasts for this year showing a very healthy increase to circa £5m turnover and a healthy profit. We are very pleased with our progress and all four of us are enjoying building a growing client portfolio.

"We have grown the business by adding eight new clients and increasing our team to 15 people, with Roger Parker being the latest addition to the team who joins us in August. After 10 years in senior operations roles at Blueprint and Adding Value, Roger has recently been managing automotive logistics on a contract basis at Imagination."

In April 2013, Touch Associates opened its first overseas office in New Jersey in the US. In December 2012, it merged with Octopus Communications, with Paul Smith joining the board.

Touch Associates launched in January 2012 with industry heavyweights Mike Ford, Colette Murphy, Patrick Collins and Nick Bender.
