Beattie joined P&MM in September 2010 on the graduate scheme, moving to P&MM Live the following July. She took up her current role just over a year ago.
Boss says: "Following spells in motivation and employee benefits, Beattie found her passion for events and in 2011 her hard work paid off when she was offered the full-time role of production assistant to support the expansion of P&MM Live. Since then she has built her skills and experience to a level that's valued by both colleagues and clients alike. Beattie's ambition and focus on fresh ideas is fast-tracking her progress to becoming a highly successful event producer," says Stuart Allum, production director, P&MM Events & Communications.
Career high: Stage-managing a convention in Budapest Sport Arena with an audience of 3,500.
Worst event moment: Other than the usual lack of sleep or food, there hasn't been one yet. Hopefully this doesn't mean I am due one any time soon.
I wish I'd run: The Olympics Opening Ceremony or a London Fashion Week catwalk show, or anything with projection mapping technology.
Alternative career: Something in fashion. Or as a beach bar owner in the Caribbean.
Next step: I am looking to work my way up to producer within P&MM. I have produced several small jobs in the past couple of months and am hoping to take on some bigger challenges.
