Jade moved to York in 2006 after graduating from Glasgow University, having studied philosophy. She landed her first job at Banks Sadler and has held several roles, including venue sourcing, a senior co-ordinator role and team manager.

Boss says: "Jade has been instrumental in the development of several accounts. Her enthusiasm is infectious and as well as being an absolute pleasure to work with, she is an extremely capable professional who is always keen to go that extra mile. Clients - whether internal and external - are always impressed by her presentation and dedication," says Leigh Jagger, chief executive at Banks Sadler.

Career high: Being presented with an award by the legendary John Cleese. I was far too excited and said that my dad loves him, and then ended up stalking him to the toilet (unintentionally).

Worst event moment: Being on a 7am train to London for an important client meeting, getting stuck for two hours in the freezing cold - this didn't do much for my blood pressure.

I wish I'd run: I do love rock music so Woodstock in 1969.

Alternative career? Full-time author extraordinaire.

Next step: Account director and a place on the board one day.
