The A List 2013: Lauren Anthony, AYMTM

Lauren Anthony, 24, is events manager at AYMTM

Lauren previously worked as a personal assistant to the managing director of an automotive firm. She joined AYMTM in June last year.

Boss says: "Since joining AYMTM, Lauren has proved to be a creative, trustworthy and detailed event manager. We promoted her quickly to the role based on the exceptional event delivery, work ethic and commitment she demonstrates to both clients and our agency," says Natalie Gunson, managing director at AYMTM.

Career high: Trekking up a mountain in Marrakech and assisting the project management for an incentive event with a past colleague.

Worst event moment: Turning up to a venue at 11pm the night before to set up to find the carpet ripped up and wet paint signs all over the woodwork.

I wish I'd run: The 2012 London Olympics - it's what spurred me on to leave my previous job and pursue my career in events.

Alternative career: Interior designer.

Next step: To become an account manager.
