The experience was part of a series of events marking 125 years of the Dunlop brand and included driving experiences to demonstrate the two companies' tyres against competitor products on 24-25 April.
These activities were followed by a celebratory dinner at a nearby Radisson Blu East Midlands Airport property, attended by John Boyd Dunlop, great grandson of Dunlop's founder.
Donington Park was given a 'Dunlop World' theme, with memorobilia and product showcases. Meanwhile, Mira received a 'Goodyear World' theme.
"We're keeping the Goodyear and Dunlop testing events seperate in order for clients to get a clear product differentiation," said Goodyear Dunlop's customer communications manager Ron Pike. "We're so proud to have John Boyd Dunlop in attendance at the dinner events on both nights. His grandfather invented the first pneumatic tyre."
