The venue has seen a significant increase in demand for large-scale events such as annual conferences, awards ceremonies and product launches since refurbishing its corporate event spaces.

Events of this kind comprised 36% of the venue’s delivered events last year, equating to an overall growth of more than 160% from 2011 to 2012.

The venue has recently attracted numerous high profile clients including EE, Coco-Cola and Acer.

Alicia Earls, events communications manager at the Science Museum, said: "The growth in business over the past year demonstrates the success of our investments; we now have more availability to meet the requirements of the corporate event market. Unique venues are becoming increasingly sought after by event organisers, and this trend is really highlighted by the increased interest for major events in our venue."
