The US institution has chosen a different country every year, and has asked Mask to create a series of events showcasing London's landmarks.

The Campaign Celebration and Welcome to London programme will feature Oriental and British themes.

Drinks will be held in the V&A Museum's Dome space, with a presentation in its Raphael gallery. Other highlights include a visit to the David Bowie exhibition.

The Friday night element will take place at the Royal Courts of Justice with a standing reception for up to 500 delegates, with traditional 'hearty' English food. The Lord Chief Justice's Court and Costume Gallery will be open to guests.

Saturday night will feature a black tie event at the Guildhall for up to 600 guests, with two smaller events in the daytime - a lunch for around 300 delegates at Middle Temple and three talks at the Churchill War Rooms.

Aimi Gibbons, marketing manager at Mask, said: "We took this enquiry last March and have been working on it for a full year and it is finally coming together. We went through numerous proposals and numerous site visits to lots of venues in London, and are working with top suppliers such as Hybrid for flowers, Wise for lighting and The Recipe for all three catering dates. We have been on five tastings, had the Americans over about three times and have got most of the Concerto Group involved in this project."
