Crown Group expands sales team with three appointments

Venue Reservations, part of the Crown Group, has hired three sales staff to support its events team and venue partnership service.

Claire Leonard has been appointed as agency relationship manager across the business, following the addition of a number of regional venues to its partnership portfolio, including the National Football Museum, National Coal Mining Museum, Liverpool Town Hall, St George’s Hall Liverpool and Northampton Saints.

Leonard will be will be based in Manchester and will support all the venues in driving event sales to their specific venues as well as building new relationships with unique venues.

Stacey Barber and Frankie Pescud have been appointed to support the event sales team, specifically focusing on Christmas parties, which has seen a 40% increase in enquiries in the first four months of the year.

Nicky Pratt, customer services director, said: "We have a solid London client base and by introducing Claire, Stacey and Frankie we are focusing on our regional presence. The addition of the new national sales phone number will also support our vision being nationwide."
