BMW continues centenary celebrations with TRO

TRO has been appointed by BMW Group UK to celebrate 100 years at its Oxford factory with 3,700 staff this weekend.

TRO will help to run the open day for the plant's staff members and their families, which will take place from 10am until 5pm tomorrow (6 April).

The event will feature an exhibition displaying the history of the Cowley-based plant, a pop-up cafe with caterers providing old English country food and a photo booth where visitors can have their photo taken in a classic car for an old-fashioned style postcard.

Directors will be involved in washing cars to raise funds for the group's chosen charity, Cancer Research.

The event will also feature a Mini car that was transformed into a mobile video recording booth for Mini's 'The Great British Roar' campaign for the London Olympics, which toured the UK recording public 'roars' in support of Team GB.
