Organisers for both shows will work together to attract buyers to their hosted buyer and VIP programmes, and will also look to collaborate on a number of other marketing initiatives.
Emma Cartmell of The Conference and Hospitality Show explained: "We are planning a campaign to attract buyers from the South East as part of our VIP programme and The Meetings Show UK will help us to deliver that.
"We see this as a great opportunity – our visitors are predominantly northern and therefore not in conflict with visitors to The Meetings Show UK. We are looking at other areas where we can collaborate too and I see this as another fantastic leap forward for The Conference and Hospitality Show’s reputation as a key exhibition in the Meetings Industry in the UK."
The Meetings Show UK’s event director Steve Knight said: "We are keen to work in partnership with the team at The Conference and Hospitality Show, assisting us to deliver our Hosted Buyer experience. The CHS team has sound knowledge of the buyers in the North and we are looking forward to working with them."
The Conference and Hospitality Show will take place on 30 April in Leeds and The Meetings Show UK's inaugural event will take place on 9-11 July at Olympia, London.
