The 259-room Hilton Sharjah, a conversion property previously known as Corniche Al Buhaira Hotel, overlooks Sharjah’s biggest lagoon.

Its meeting spaces include two boardrooms on the ground floor, each seating eight delegates, while its 633sqm Al Jawhara Ballroom can accommodate up to 500 theatre-style on the first floor.

There are a further three events spaces on the first floor, as well as two poolside areas, for up to 200 and 300 attendees respectively.

The hotel is ten kilometres from Dubai International Airport, and also features three swimming pools, a fitness centre, two restaurants and a café.

Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa president Rudi Jagersbacher said: "Sharjah offers a unique business and leisure opportunity that complements traditional, authentic Emirati culture with the vibrancy of a dynamic industrial and commercial centre.

"The Emirate is also home to a number of major global events including the annual F1 Powerboat Racing, Sharjah International Book Fair and International Test Cricket matches, all helping to strengthen Sharjah’s growing tourism position in the region."
