Ignite produces NFL Superbowl event

Clients from Superbowl sponsors including Pepsi and Budweiser attended the Ignite-organised NFL Super Bash.

The official UK Superbowl viewing party, the NFL Super Bash, was held at Koko in Camden on 3 February, developed and produced by brand experience agency Ignite for the second year running.

Official event sponsors attending included Pepsi, Budweiser, Papa John’s Pizza and Gatorade.

This year, the NFL Super Bash saw the Baltimore Ravens take on the London bound San Francisco 49ers in the XLVII Super Bowl, with the Baltimore Ravens winning 34-31. 

Pre-match entertainment was provided by the ROAR Jacksonville Jaguar’s cheerleaders and the team mascot Jaxson de Ville, as well as break dancing troupe Break Trix. 

Nat Coombs, host of Channel 4’s Sunday Night Football coverage, took on the role of master of ceremonies. He was joined by two NFL Pro Bowl players, Fred Taylor, former running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots, and Daunte Culpepper, former quarterback for teams including the Minnesota Vikings.

Mark Killingley, marketing director from NFL said: "Once again Ignite threw an incredible bash that reflected the NFL, our sponsors and the fun, competitive spirit of American Football perfectly. People were partying hard into the early hours of Monday morning."
