The Meetings Show UK unveils exhibitor list to attract associations

Association Event Planner has learned that The Meetings Shows UK has 52 confirmed exhibitors to date, including London & Partners and a number of academic venues.

The event's hosted buyer programme, aimed at national and international associations, will launch its online application system in early February.

A dedicated academic pavilion includes King's College, Robinson College, University of Manchester and Royal Holloway University.

The technology sector is represented by Cvent, RefTech, Power Vote, IML Worldwide and PSAV.

The list of committed exhibitors includes London & Partners, Meet Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff and Co, Newcastle and Gateshead, Coventry and Warwickshire and Brighton.

There are 11 overseas destinations including Austria, New York City and Co, Tourism Ireland, Visit Denmark, Meet in Reykjavik and Mexico, plus three DMCs.

There are nine hotel chains listed including, Marriott Hotels, Guoman Thistle, H10 Hotels, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Puma Hotels and Zacchera Hotels.

Specialist suppliers include chooseyourvenue.com, ARC International and Target Response.

The Meetings Show UK's event director, Steve Knight, said: "The response from potential exhibitors has been unanimously positive, it is clear we will be showcasing the most diverse range of exhibitors at any UK show.

"There is much more to come – we are currently in conversation with a host of other exhibitors and expect to be able to confirm representatives from Spain, Canada, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Scotland and a variety of long haul destinations in the near future."

The Meetings Show UK's inaugural event will take place from 9 to 11 July 2013 at Olympia, London, with the dedicated association programme taking place on 8 July.
