Fresh Group records 32% growth and wins clients including Encyclopaedia Britannica

The Fresh Group has recorded 32% growth in its sales and its strongest-ever financial year for 2012.

The group’s sales are up 32% to £11,124,000 with pre-tax profits also up 32% to £832,159.

Fresh Group chief executive Julie Besbrode said: "Given the economic climate, it is a fabulous achievement by all at Fresh to continue to show such controlled growth of over 30% year on year for the last 3 years. With the order book and pipeline currently at an all time high we are on course to deliver our targeted £15m in 2013."

The Cheadle-based agency’s financial year runs from September to September, and Besbrode added that the first quarter of its 2013 accounting year has already been positive.

The agency has added ten new members to its 70-strong team, and won work with four new clients, including Encyclopaedia Britannica.

"The figures are incredibly pleasing and show the hard work, commitment and dedication of the entire team. To be at the beginning of our financial year and already have over 50% of our target as confirmed work is a great encouragement to the team. It’s exciting times ahead for us," added Fresh Group chairman Nick Porter.

The agency has also invested more than £250,000 to get its new exhibition division up and running for 2013.
