The event will be held at the new London Film Museum, Covent Garden and is being handled by Virgin Media's experiential specialist Simon Dornan who is the company's head of brand amplification.

The event follows Cable Congress Europe, which is being held at the Lancaster Hotel, London.

Dornan said the event would feature experiential elements, adding that he is looking forward to using the new venue.

Timebased's communications manager Katie Haile added: "The Gala is going to have a strong British theme so guests can expect Route Masters, Pearly Kings and Queens, Mini Coopers and even the Royal Guard. The venue is in an ideal central location and offers a clean white space which is perfect for theming. We have worked with Virgin on a couple of different events now and always find the team fun and innovative, and really open to new ideas and themes."
