MCI expands delegate boosting services into Latin America

MCI, the global PCO and association management company, has set up a new hub in Buenos Aires to expand its delegate boosting services into Latin America.

The hub will use localised marketing strategies and sales outreach methodology to attract delegates from Latin American countries to international conferences.

This is the fourth hub to be set up, following the establishment of hubs in India, China and the UAE last year.

All four hubs are run with a strategy of providing associations with a locally developed marketing and sales strategy that reaches out to various business multipliers, including local and regional associations, government organsiations and the industry to promote the conference, build the congress brand and finally attract more participants to the meeting.

Ajay Bhojwani, deputy managing director of MCI Middle East, said: "The Latin America hub is purely set up based on our strategy of offering the service in emerging markets, which today are driving huge attendance to international meetings and are the key areas of interest to our clients from a growth perspective for their products and services.

"MCI will set up additional hubs in Latin America and Asia Pacific to solidify and expand the outreach in these growing regions and will finally build on the existing and matured markets in Europe."
