The new events division will focus on corporate events, press conferences, and industry forums.

Van Zwanenberg was previously the event manager at the Imagination Gallery for more than six years. The Imagination Gallery closed to external events in September 2012.

During her time at Imagination, she worked to deliver events for clients including British Gas, Accenture, O2, Barclaycard, Nespresso, Skoda, BBC Worldwide and Maersk.

Trained as a stage manager for theatre at RADA, Van Zwanenberg worked in London’s West End for more than 15 years before moving into the corporate world.

"The best events seem effortless," said Van Zwanenberg.  "If it doesn’t look easy, the events company isn’t trying hard enough.  Wordville is a one of a kind agency that packs a punch and I’m excited about what we can achieve together."

A total of five other staff work at Wordville and will assist with delivering events as the agency wins projects.

Wordville director Lucy George said: "Our team has been delivering small scale events for our clients for a number of years and setting up a division of the business to handle demand seemed like the next natural step for us. We have always had a great working relationship with Gill and when this opportunity arose to work with her on a more permanent basis it was just too good to pass up.  With Gill’s experience, contacts and know-how in the events industry, we’ve got the best in the business working with us."
