On C&IT TV: Datacenter Dynamics moves conference to ICC London Excel

Datacenter Dynamics chose the ICC London Excel to host its 2,500-delegate Converged London Conference.

Datacenter Dynamics needed a new venue to house its conference for delegates including IT directors, business analysts and finance directors, on 14-15 November 2012, after outgrowing the hotel it had used for the past five years.

With around 70 technical presentations, case studies and panel discussions, featuring speakers from Facebook, RBS and Barclays, along with 80 exhibitors for attendees to visit, Datacenter Dynamics chose to use the ICC London Excel.

The ICC Capital Suite was used for conference sessions and part of the exhibition, while the ICC Capital Hall provided additional exhibition space.

Datacenter Dynamics is planning to return to ICC London Excel on 20-21 November 2013.

Datacenter Dynamics chief strategy officer George Rockett said: "We are in a high-tech industry and wanted a high-tech location.

"The ICC had the ability to split into as many rooms as we liked. The team was very appreciative of the detail required. When the event grows again, which we hope it will, this meets our requirements perfectly."
