Butlins Events has events facilities in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness which it has invested in as part of a "multi-million pound" plan since 2005.

The recent opening of Wave Hotel, a £180,000 refit to the large meeting space at Bognor Regis, due for completion in early February, and the £13 million refurbishment of Splash Waterworld at Skegness, set to open during 2013 will be central to the strategy.

Butlins Events is targeting festival promoters, events buyers and corporate events teams in 2013. Simon Jones, national sales manager, Butlins Events, said the company has gained an impressive reputation with major blue-chip companies as well as SMEs and music producers for its event management and customer service.

"The resorts boast upgraded technology, renovated accommodation and indoor Skyline Pavilions which offer flexibility and capacity to accommodate a whole variety of bespoke events. What's more, we are an excellent choice for companies keen to stay local; for many Butlins Events presents an opportunity to support British businesses, as well as providing their staff with a working environment that is also built to promote fun. There aren't many places that can host an AGM for 1,000 delegates and follow it up with a go-karting session," he added.

Butlins Bognor Regis resort has a purpose-built Shoreline Conference Centre, and event spaces alongside three on-site hotels and a spa.

The Minehead resort in Somerset, with an on-site 6000 plus capacity arena, hosts large festivals set against the backdrop of Exmoor National Park. The Skegness resort can accommodate groups of up to 7,000 delegates with coastal team-building activities.
