Around 1,000 urologists, anatomists, radiologists and pathologists are expected to attend the event from 14-16 June at the Tepekule Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This will follow three IYUA courses that are taking place in Izmir at the Department of Anatomy in Ege University Faculty of Medicine in April 2013.
IYUA President Dr. Emre Huri said: "The congress aims to provide the most up-to-date theoretical knowledge on the anatomy of urological interest. Dedicated hands-on training sessions for participants will aid an in-depth analysis of particular aspects of urology.
"Izmir is where old and new, traditional and modern, reality and mystery are harmoniously intertwined with each other. We hope that delegates’ stay will be both scientifically and personally an exciting experience."
The IYUA is based in the US and Turkey and was founded in 2010. It aims to help young urologists in the second step of their career on an international level and deals with everything from the vocational, social, personal and most importantly academic expectations of this process.
