Have you organised events in Vienna before and, if so, why?
We have used Vienna as an event location a number of times. Here at Nikken we have a large Austrian consultant base, as well as many German consultants, so the location is ideal. We find Vienna a very accessible city.
The city has plenty of great venues, which is a major attraction for our consultants. This is why we return there at least once a year for different events that we run. We have found that we routinely experience great service from the venues we use - another reason to return.

Which venues have you used before and why did you choose them?
We tend to use Hotel Ananas when we run events in Vienna, and have found the facilities are good and it's very adaptable. The service we receive is great, as the team at the hotel always meets our needs and helps make the event a success.
Another reason we choose Hotel Ananas is the great location within Vienna. It is situated near the centre, and is close to the main roads that run through the city, making it even more accessible.
We've used this hotel for gala dinners, as well as training and product launches, so when organising events with Hotel Ananas, we don't need to take our consultants elsewhere.
We have many consultants with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dietary requirements and the hotel is always able to cater for them. They allow us to get on with things, but always accommodate any requests we may have.

What hints and tips do you have for event planners considering Vienna?
The Vienna Convention Bureau is very helpful. Whenever we contact them they are very patient and give us plenty of good advice.
A final point, we've never experienced any communication problems when using Vienna as our event location. The standard of English used there is brilliant.
