UKTI awards £10m event services framework

UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) has launched a £10m event services framework.

Non-ministerial government department UKTI has appointed 20 suppliers to its event services framework agreement, for the provision of sector specialist services.

The £10m framework deal runs for two years until December 2014, and covers sector specific event management in the UK and overseas, including exhibitions, conferences and seminars, outward trade missions, inward missions and meet the buyer events.

Suppliers appointed to the framework in nine separate lots:

Lot 1 - Agri food and drink

  • The British Agri-Tech Food & Drink Alliance
  • UK Agri-Food & Drink

Lot 4 - Mass transport - ports (single supplier lot)

Lot 5 - Construction and global infrastructure

Meanwhile, UKTI is also set to launch a procurement process early next year to appoint a prime contractor for the UKTI HQ Events and Missions programme in the UK and overseas.
