Roselle Events, which has offices in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, has added to its 12-strong team.

Helen Batten has been appointed as events manager and Lucy Patterson as an executive assistant.

Batten joins Roselle Events from a public sector background, organising events for NHS and Scottish Government clients and previously worked at Gleneagles Hotel.

Executive assistant Patterson will provide support to the senior management team after working in similar roles in industries including oil and gas, motor trade, banking and most recently the public water sector.

Managing director Charlotte McIntosh said: "We are excited to welcome Helen and Lucy to the Roselle Events team and their roles will be key in our development across the Scottish corporate events market and into the pharmaceutical, energy and financial sectors.

"2012 has undoubtedly been a landmark year for Roselle, and we have achieved a number of successes, including beating off some stiff competition to organise a glittering celebration for Harvey Nichols’ 10th anniversary party in its Edinburgh store."
