TFI Meeting Point, part of the TFI Group, recently announced four major association event wins following its work in 2012 with the International Association of Women Judges conference and World Green Roof Congress.

Halladey said: "Companies can gain remarkable value from sponsoring association conferences, which are a really effective way of getting up close and interacting with engaged audiences. I am looking forward to helping TFI Meeting Point deliver real value to associations through helping attract those vital sponsors and delegates."

Simon Maier, TFI Group managing director, said: "This appointment sends a strong message to the association market, that TFI Meeting Point takes seriously the concerns of conference organisers and is willing and able to do something to help. We recognise that funding events and attracting delegate numbers are the biggest challenge currently faced by association meeting planners, and that’s why we have developed such expertise in this vital area.

"Punita’s role is dedicated to unearthing potential corporate sponsors to help fund events, and also to finding new and innovative ways to help delegates see the value of attending those events.

Punita Halladey joins the TFI Group with experience from a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, telecommunications and healthcare. Previous employers include Informa, SMI, BBC and WCBF.
