Organised by Crescendo Event Communication, the 200th anniversary event was an opportunity for the firm – which manufactures electrical connectors and switchgear – to network with global channel partners and clients.

Kicking off with a conference on 27 November, the event included a chairman’s address to 100 of the electrical company’s top clients and partners.

In addition, Lucy Switchgear showcased some of its latest products in an exhibition area, before attendees were invited to a screening of the latest Batman film at the venue, complete with a specially-created ice cream, usherettes and individual cinema tickets.

Crescendo engagement director Russell Allen explained the business wanted to create a unique, celebratory experience for delegates in the evening.

"We wanted to take them on a journey and leave them thinking about the next 200 years," he explained.

The company commissioned its own music to be composed for the event, while a magic theme and LED lighting was used to create a spectacular experience for attendees.

Delegates could then spend the rest of the night networking at a gentleman’s club created on site, The Lucy Club.
