Hotel brands set to open in the city between 2013 and 2015 include Hyatt, Kempinski and Radisson.
Developments include the Hyatt Place Yerevan, set to open in the capital in spring, with 96 rooms, more than 120sqm of meeting space, a restaurant and a fitness center.
"Armenia lost 20% of potential [MICE] clients in 2012 because we don't have enough facilities in high season," ESI DMC sales director Yeghishe Tanashyan announced at EIBTM 2012.
"Next year, with these new openings, we hope to have a 10% increase."
Armenia received around 100,000 C&I visitors in 2012, he added, according to the Armenian Association of Travel Agents.
