Ignite has promoted George Chapman to head of production and operations.

Ignite appoints head of production and operations
Chapman, promoted from his role as operations director, has worked as project director on accounts including Vodafone, NFL, Barclays, The Premier League and Intel.

Recent projects Chapman has been involved with include Ignite´s transformation of Jubilee Hall in Covent Garden into the NBA house, which was visited by 53,000 fans during the Summer of 2012.

Chapman will report into Ignite’s joint managing directors, Cris Cicirello and Paul Saville.

Saville said: "George has really impressed the whole team at Ignite with the dedication he has brought to the agency, providing outstanding project direction as we continue to build upon our successes. When the opportunity arose to promote George we took it with both hands, he’s a vital member of the team and we look forward to him continuing to deliver great work for our clients."

Chapman, added: "At Ignite we work with some fantastic clients so it’s an honour to be given the chance to progress further in the company and step-up. I’m looking forward to building on the great work we’ve done already to cement Ignite’s reputation as the best brand experience agency in the UK."
