Lucy worked at Paragon Elite, which offers high-end VIP tickets for events and premieres, before moving across to help launch Paragon Events and develop the business’ corporate events side.

Boss says "I would like to nominate Lucy for her superb work in delivering the Children in Need dinner for more than 800 guests last year. We have won the business again for this year," says director of events Frances Green.

Career high The BBC’s inaugural Children in Need dinner last year. It raised more than £200,000.

Worst event moment We had a corporate group at the Take That concert in Glasgow, and had arranged a meeting point after the show. However, we got moved on by the police, so had to try to contact 100 delegates and somehow get them back to their hotels.

I wish I’d run… The Olympics opening ceremony.

Alternative career I’d like to be a dancer: I used to dance when I was growing up and my auntie was a dance teacher.

My next step I’d like to be involved in more larger-scale events for 800-1,000 people following the success of the Children in Need dinner.
