The A List 2012: Lucie Fox, First Protocol

Lucie gained an event management degree at Leeds Metropolitan University and joined First Protocol six years ago, becoming operations manager last year.

Boss says "Lucie is a star performer who is well recognised as being best in class. She delivers personal bests on a daily basis. I couldn’t wish for a more talented professional," says managing director Mark Riches.

Career high Moving to First Protocol’s New York office in 2009, and living and working in Hell’s Kitchen.

Worst event moment My biggest challenge was an event in Dubai where we secured Tony Blair as a speaker just after he left office. It was a Q&A with a Middle Eastern audience and high security. People walked out in protest.

I wish I’d run… The launch of the first passenger flight on Virgin Galactic.

Alternative career I would love to be a translator, speaking Japanese or Mandarin. It is a highly skilled profession and you get to see the world.

My next step Operations director and then I would love to sit on the board.
