Francesca joined Banks Sadler back in 1997, on graduate work experience for the then sister company, European Study Tours. She moved over to Banks Sadler, joining the international event management team and progressing to deputy team manager.

Boss says "Fran has an inspirational work ethic: she is very calm but also commands a huge amount of respect with suppliers, clients and colleagues," says CEO Leigh Jagger.

Career high I ran a series of 13 conferences and award dinners for 4,000 delegates over a six-week period. It was a major project, and the feedback was excellent.

Worst event moment I took an incentive group to Dubai and it rained the entire time, plus George Bush was unexpectedly in town and we were not allowed to leave our hotel.

I wish I’d run… One of the MTV Awards ceremonies.

Alternative career An interior designer or a teacher.

My next step I’d like to continue at Banks Sadler; it would be great to be on the board one day.
