The A List 2012: Laura Hallaways, Lodestar
Laura started at Lodestar in 2009 as assistant producer and was promoted to producer in January this year. She initially wanted to get into theatre production, but an internship with Lodestar while studying led to a full-time role.

Boss says "Laura had an exceptional year in 2011. She has produced a range of events, from senior management conferences for Sony Ericsson in Copenhagen to developing and steering the content for a highly complex and multi-layered event for Philips in Eindhoven [in the Netherlands]," says director Phil Watton.

Career high We built a brand centre for Nissan at The O2 called the Nissan Innovation Station, and a few hundred people came along in the first couple of hours.

Worst event moment Trying to navigate a group of people to dinner in Dublin during the Queen’s state visit – the police kept closing roads.

I wish I’d run... The Nokia Lumia launch or London Fashion Week.

Alternative career Something similar, like theatre production; or completely different, such as a history academic.

My next step Become senior producer at Lodestar within the next couple of years.
