Louisa studied media production at university and worked for conference company Informa, running the special projects team, before joining Powwow seven years ago as an event manager.

Boss says "Lou combines creativity with intelligence, is extremely loyal to both the business and her clients, and is quite simply one of the best event directors you could wish to have in your organisation," says founder and director Amanda Edgcumbe.

Career high A VIP dinner for 200 at Christchurch Spitalfields in 2011 – top celebrities and performers came along. Our whole team was involved, and the event came together really seamlessly.

Worst event moment It was when a speaker grabbed a croissant on his way to the stage, took a big bite and started choking. I had to run over and give him quite a few hard slaps on his back before he could breathe again.

I wish I’d run… I’ve always been in awe of Glastonbury – in a sunny year, not a wet one. I love how innovative it is.

Alternative career Be a personal trainer so I could mix work and exercise.

My next step I want to help Powwow grow, and I’m having a baby in May – so combining my career and motherhood.
