
C&IT anonymously surveyed almost 200 corporate and agency event planners covering a range of roles, from junior recruits to senior management.
Just over one in three (34%) event planners said they do not have a good work/life balance, while a similar number (33%) feel that they are not well paid for the hours they work.
Almost half (47%) of event planners told C&IT they work an average of 40-50 hours per week, but almost a third (29%) work 50-60 hours, and 12% 60-70 hours.
