Serenity Garden, occupying 1,500sqm, is on the rooftop of the hotel. The open-air, artificial garden accommodates multiple uses as a event venue and occasional restaurant.

"With a breathtaking view of Tokyo and our renowned 17-acre Japanese botanical garden, Serenity Garden will be the new Tokyo hot spot for corporate parties and special events," said Kazumasa Suezawa, Fujita Kanko’s president and CEO. "We look forward to working with meeting planners from around the world on innovative uses for this space. It’s another great option at the hotel for international conferences and events."

Fujita Kanko has begun £40m of renovations and upgrades to the hotel, to be completed over the next three years. Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo will offer 259 rooms, 12 restaurants and bars and 36 meeting rooms, including one that accommodates banquets for up to 2,000 delegates.

The hotel’s other new facilities will include Café Foresta, with an open kitchen, specialising in sweets.
