Abbott, who was previously UK country director for the agency, will now be accountable for its UK performance covering operations, business development, creative and production, venue finding and travel.

In addition, Nicola Burns has also been appointed to the board as operational effectiveness director, and Penny Callaghan as European and Asian operations director. Andrew Winterburn is business development director - Europe and Asia.
