The 207-room hotel in the south of Munich will open on 9 January and have eight meeting rooms.

The total 745sqm conference space on the ground floor will be pillar-free and can accommodate a maximum of 350 delegates.

General manager Marcel Koburger said: "With this conference highlight of the 745sqm events area, we will be addressing an entirely new customer group, which will allow us to complete our Angelo offer in Munich. This requires multifaceted analyses and new market strategies, which are currently in the process of being implemented."

The hotel will have a 220-seat restaurant, as well as a further 45-seat fine dining restaurant and a lobby bar.

Vienna International chief executive Dr Andreas Karsten added: "We have prepared ourselves for many guests in the future, from city tourists to business travellers, companies and event agencies, and we are looking forward to opening another hotel in Munich."
