Black Tomato marketing manager Katie Foster told C&IT that, given the challenging economic conditions, the company is delighted to have achieved a fifth successive year of top-line growth with plans to open a Paris office.

"Having delivered a solid performance so far this year, we are now looking to expand our presence in continental Europe by opening an office Paris in the next couple of months in order to further develop our growing roster of pan-European incentive clients," she added.

Changes at the top

Meanwhile, Hegarty, who was previously Black Tomato's financial controller, replaces Caroline Tennant as company secretary after Tennant decided not to return from maternity leave.

Acting chairman Peter Marchant has retired, but still maintains an "active interest" in the company.

The company said that its policy is not to comment on gross profit.
