The 20th meeting of the International Society for Sexually Transmitted Diseases Research (ISSTDR) and the 14th World Congress of the International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI) will take place at the Hofburg Congress Center in Vienna from 14-17 July 2013.

Around 1,500 delegates are expected to attend the conference from across the world.

Angelika Stary, Chair of the STI & AIDS World Congress 2013 and President of ISSTDR, said: "Vienna is the number one conference city worldwide. Everybody wants to visit Vienna and is very enthusiastic about a city that is number one for quality of life. It is also in the heart of Europe, easy to access, offers a lot of culture and has nice surroundings.

"The Hofburg is the most impressive conference venue and is just the right size for this meeting."
