Doubletree by Hilton opens first hotel in Mexico City

Doubletree by Hilton is launching a 96-room hotel in Mexico City, with almost 700sqm of meetings and events space.

The Doubletree by Hilton Mexico City Airport is 15 minutes from the Benito Juarez Mexico City Airport and was formerly an independent hotel.

There is a total of 696sqm of meetings space, which can be divided into seven separate rooms.

The largest space – the 336sqm Ebano room – can accommodate up to 280 delegates theatre-style.

There is also a 24-hour business centre.

Doubletree by Hilton global head Rob Palleschi said: "The DoubleTree by Hilton brand continues to makes inroads across the globe as evidenced by the opening of our third Mexican hotel in one of the most important economic hubs in all of Latin America, Mexico City."

The hotel is owned and operated by Operadora de Hoteles y Restaurantes ITER, S.A. de C.V under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
