The first of these gathered business leaders from major brands, including P&G and British Gas, to discuss how to engage consumers on sustainability issues, while providing real value to business.
Challenging speakers including Tim Smit, CEO of The Eden Project, set the tone for the day, and a series of working sessions enabled delegates to debate solutions relevant to their industries.
Specialist scribes listened in, pulling out key soundbites and presenting them in a visually interesting way, which judges highlighted as an innovative and effective concept.
A sustainability focus was applied to all event elements and an e-book featuring content from the day was presented to delegates. Pre-event, 61% of delegates thought they could create greater sustainability via a long-term change in consumer behaviour, which rose to 84% at the end of the day.
