20 - Disneyland Paris opened its doors 20 years ago. It has 15 on-site hotels providing 8,200 rooms, 58 restaurants, and can host events for up to 25,000 people.

5 - Le 8 Valois aims to be the first 100% eco-friendly ballroom in Paris. Five rooms are available with capacities from 65 to 350 people. Google, L'Oreal and Veolia are among the organisations that have held events there.

18,000 - La Halle Freyssinet is an 18,000m2 former industrial building that can be used for events. It is situated in Bercy and has hosted a number of fashion events for brands such as Nina Ricci and Lanvin.

45 - Venues group Eurosites has 45 sites, a total of 65,000m2 of event space, more than 450 meeting rooms and five auditoriums that can accommodate 150 to 2,000 people.

76,309 - There are 76,309 five-star hotel rooms in inner Paris in 40 properties.

18 - There are 18 congress and exhibition centres in Paris, ten of which are grouped together under the Viparis banner.

43 - Business travellers account for 43% of the overnight stays in hotels in inner Paris each year.

6 - Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris - one of a handful of hotels in Paris' highest 'palace' accommodation category - opened its new Penthouse Suite in July. The 160m2 uber-luxury space has six terraces offering a 3600 view of the city.

800 - The Montecosy is the largest barge in France at 800m2, with 400m2 of open space and magnificent views of Paris. It is situated in the 12th arrondissement at the Quai de la Rapee.
