Menzies Hotels will be investing around £7m into its portfolio with a variety of redevelopment projects, including a £2.2m refurbishment at its flagship property Menzies Welcombe Hotel, Spa & Golf Club in Stratford-upon-Avon, a £1.1m investment at both Bournemouth properties; Menzies Carlton and East Cliff Court as well as 'significant' investment to the bedrooms at Menzies Prince Regent in Chigwell and Menzies Cambridge.

Additionally, the hotel chain has adopted the slogan ‘You’re in a good place’ and a new logo in blue and gold, which will feature on new signage.

Chairman of the company Niall Geoghegan said: "Menzies Hotels aims to be one of the UK’s leading hotel brands, offering an experience that is so consistently good, relaxing and friendly that it feels like home. Our new messaging - You’re in a good place - is a really important phrase in delivering this and will sit right at the heart of everything we stand for and in every communication with guests, no matter how big or small."
