Midlands-based Ellis Salsby completed the deal to take over Hampshire's Right Location Corporate Services yesterday (17 September).

The agency's managing director Ellis Salsby said: "There is great synergy between the two companies and this is a very exciting move as the two businesses become one."

Ellis Salsby - founded in 1989 - currently has 12 employees, while Right Location has four.

Diane Slater launched venue finding and accommodation agency Right Location in 1992, and will now be involved on a consultancy basis.

Salsby told C&IT the acquisition had added around 50 per cent to the Kidderminster agency's turnover, and would allow for further growth as clients used the extended services on offer.

"There are a lot of other services that Ellis Salsby offers that the current clients haven't been exposed to," he said. "There is a lot of opportunity there. The two companies have built up strong reputations and have developed great expertise over many years. We intend to build on that and further enhance our strength in the sector."

Right Location will be rebranded as Ellis Salsby, and the plan is to achieve as much "consistency for clients" as possible, added Salsby.
