The agency plans to enable clients to create more engaging events for delegates using its new app.
Live Union managing director Steve Eakins said: "Apps add a fantastic new dynamic to events, but for clients the process of choosing and implementing the right solution is daunting."
The Mobile Event app has already been used by companies including Google, Microsoft, Samsung and Accenture.
Meanwhile, Live Union delivered an event for a professional services client in May, using the app and strategic director Jez Paxman told C&IT the agency wanted to "develop the business in this direction".
"As a content-led agency, if you are not delivering in this area you are not giving clients a full 360-degree service," said Paxman. "I would imagine that within two years event apps will be a default element of events."
The Mobile Event app functions across Apple, Android, Blackberry and Windows devices.
"The days of the printed delegate pack will be a thing of the past," added Paxman. "That is the pragmatic part, but it is also about allowing delegates to engage and connect more effectively. The depth of it is quite exciting."
