Speaking at the event, held at the Whitechapel Gallery - one of Smart's partner venues, Hartnett said that she had handled several events for IT company Adobe, including a recent function for 1,700 at Battersea Evolution and smaller dinners for key staff.

"We're very flexible with our corporate offering, and can adjust our offering for events of various sizes," she added.

Other previous Smart events were also discussed, including an Olympic wrap party at the Olympic Hospitality Centre.

Harnett went on to discuss her approach to food, telling audiences that she selects the best seasonal ingredients available and uses them to create "fresh, vibrant, modern dishes. Sourced from sustainable and artisan suppliers."

The Whitechapel Gallery event was held to host PR company Davies Tanner's summer party.
