Following a storming Best of British-themed party at The Cumberland last night, delegates headed to the nearby Thistle Marble Arch for a day of expert presentations.

Highlights from Day 1 include a presentation from Fairley on how she strived to build an global ethical brand. Other presentations to look out for include a rundown of the best b2b brand events from C&IT and Definitive Events and a talk on tax and legal issues by Event Assured managing director Brian Kirsch.

Later, Coca-Cola's sustainable Games project coordinator Olivia Knight-Adams will talk about the challenges the company faced meeting the event sustainability standard ISO 20121.

Friday 7th

Friday is similarly action packed, with George P Johnson discussing its efforts creating the technologically advanced Cisco House for the Olympics and DRP Group talking about how best to use apps at events.
