The aim of the Continue the Magic campaign – which will be launched at Imex America in Las Vegas in October – is to highlight the new venues which will open in the coming year, including at the Olympic Park.
The London convention bureau team will invite event planners to experience the capital by visiting a range Olympic venues as well as new hotels opening in 2013.
The campaign - which is aiming to deliver an additional £17m leisure and business tourism to London - will offer corporate event planners a chance to host their own events in the iconic 2012 venues such as the Velodrome, the Aquatics Centre and the Olympic Stadium.
London & Partners sales and marketing director for North American and emerging markets Chris FJ Lynn said: "Four billion people across the globe watched London play glorious host to the Olympic Games this summer. Those billions of people have seen a range of iconic London images from our magnificent Olympic Park in Stratford through to the Royal Parks in Hyde Park and Greenwich to brand new venues like the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
"All of these venues and many more will be perfect for business events in 2013 and we want to invite the world to come and experience London for themselves and continue the magic that they saw this summer."
Additional new London hotels include the new Intercontinental London Westminster, the Art'otel London Hoxton, the Nobu hotel in Shoreditch, two new Citizen M hotels which will be situated in Tower of London and St. Paul’s.
In addition, the Café Royal on Regent Street will open later this year as a luxury hotel featuring 159 rooms and historic suites, a private members club, high-tech meeting rooms and spa and gym.
Imex America takes place in Las Vegas from 9–11 October 2012 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre at The Venetian.
