ATP Event Experts, part of ATPI Group, will be designated as the Official Ticket & Travel Agent (NL) of the Dutch NOC for the Olympic and Paralympic Games for the next eight years.

For the next two Olympic and Paralympic Games, ATP Event Experts will continue its role of arranging the travel for the Dutch National Olympic team and helping to operate the official Dutch NOC centre, Holland House.

Since 1997, ATP Event Experts has been responsible for the organisation, coordination and sale of Olympic tickets to the Dutch market and is heavily involved in facilitating corporate hospitality packages for members of the Dutch NOC, fans and corporate sponsors.

Gerard Dielessen, director, Dutch National Olympic Committee, said: "The orange wave that swept over each and every event venue at the London 2012 Olympic Games and kept Holland House packed to the rafters night after night is proof of just how important sport is to the Dutch people. We want our enthusiastic sports fans to continue to enjoy the Olympics for years to come and, with ATP Event Experts as our Official Ticket & Travel Agent, we’re confident that they will be able to provide the same exceptional level of service and support that we’ve come to enjoy these past 15 years."

ATPI’s chief operating officer for Europe and USA, Peter Muller, added: "We have built a strong working relationship with the Dutch National Olympic Committee over the past 15 years and we’re proud that our hard work, strong organisation and corporate hospitality expertise has led to the decision to renew our contract for a further eight years. The management and organisation of the travel and corporate hospitality requirements behind large scale sporting events is a key business area for us, and it could not be in better hands. We look forward to continuing working with the Dutch NOC for many years to come."

This past summer, ATP Event Experts moved more than 20,000 visitors, corporate sponsors, athletes and support staff in conjunction with the Olympic Games in London.

Visitors were transported via scheduled flights and private charters and slept in one of the 25 hotels that ATP Event Experts contracted during the Games. With an on-site staff of 125 employees working from Holland House and an office-based team of 30, ATP Event Experts worked on the London 2012 Olympic Games since the day the city was announced as host in 2005.

With the 2012 Paralympic Games now underway, ATP Event Experts has sent dedicated teams to Sochi, Russia and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to carry out a host of site inspections on hotels, restaurants and event venues.
