Lightbrigade Media Group has appointed Sledge's account director Jez Audus to head up a new events operation with corporates including Samsung and GSK.

Lightbrigade Media Group's events arm, Lightbrigade Events, has made Audus head of events

Audus - who was one of C&IT's A-Listers this year - will be in charge of a new team offering creative services ranging from internal employee engagement and experiential events to award shows, trade and consumer exhibitions and event campaign evaluation.

"Jez is a great operator and a fantastic addition to our business as he complements all the facets of our growing operation from PR and employee engagement to exhibitions and conferences that sees us work with blue-chip clients from Samsung and Kuoni to GSK and Laurent Perrier," said Lightbrigade Media Group managing director Andy Edwards.

Audus, who spent two separate spells at Sledge from 2005 to 2007 and then returned as account director in 2010, has worked with clients including JP Morgan, Microsoft, Bupa, Metro and O2.

He also spent time as senior project manager at marketing agency RPM, working with clients including Westfield, Diageo and Best Buy. He was part of the team that started RPM’s corporate division, specialising in business to business work.
